The novels, 1984, Animal Farm, and Fahrenheit451 represent the life of dystopia. These novels show the pictures of people who live in dystopian environment. According to dictionary the meaning of dystopia is a society characterized by human misery, as squalor, oppression, disease, and overcrowding. In these novels, 1984, Animal Farm, and Fahrenheit451, it show the squalor, oppression, disease and overcrowding which is human miseries.
In 1984 there are many frames about dystopia. First it shows that the government called Big Brother took care all of the things what people do. They give them a job which The Big Brother chose. Especially the main character name Winston lived in dystopian world. He wanted to live free, but he got betrayed and he couldn’t love who he loved.
In Animal Farm there are also many frames about dystopia. This book represents the Russia. The farmer represents the last king in Russia and the two pigs represent the leaders of Communist. In these time people lived very harshly, hardly and poorly. They have to starve and pay lots of taxes. Also in these times it represents all the meaning of dystopia. In this book the other animals were like the Russian in that time. They had to work hard, starve and obey the leaders. However leaders lived very well. They took the wages that the other animals have earned. They took the food that the other animals have harvested.
Lastly in Fahrenheit451 it also represents the Dystopia. In this book there is no freedom to read books. For some people it doesn’t matter but people who really like books, it is a strong torture. By living in that world it will be hard to endure, because they could not learn the beauty of literature, and book.
By seeing these three books it might be possible to make small utopian world. The reasons are first there are people like main characters and people who resist following the leaders and the strong power. If these people increases they could rebel and make a new world. They have to make a rule that everybody agrees and be a democracy. However in the other hand it might not work, because every people is greedy, one person is powerful than the others, then the powerful man will lead the new society what ever he wants. Also in these books all the main characters fail the resistant or get deceived by the wicked leader. As you see the world we are living, some place seems to live in Utopian world but they all have the weakness, and some places, they live in dystopian place. For example middle west Asia, and North Korean. Even the people who seem to live in utopian place they all have flaws, and I think it is impossible to make an ideal utopian world in Earth. I don’t it is possible to make a utopian world base on these books, but if people try, have no greedy attitude, share together, love together, and live freely, then I think it will be possible to make utopian world but not perfect though.
